On Russia Day, June 12, 6 modern warships for the Russian Navy will be laid down at Russian shipyards at once.

 

This was announced yesterday by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. In her release, it is specified that among them are 2 diesel-electric submarines of the Varshavyanka type, one corvette, one minesweeper and two ships for research, including deep-sea, work. The submarines will be built at the Admiralty Shipyards in St. Petersburg. They will be called "Vologda" and "Yaroslavl" and armed with Caliber missiles. The Project 12700 minesweeper Polarny, which will be laid at the Sredne-Nevsky Shipbuilding Plant, will be able to clear mines not only in the water, but also in the seabed, without even approaching them.

 

The project 20385 "Reasonable" corvette for the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Navy will be built at the Amur Shipyard, and two ships for secret research "Leonid Bekrenev" and "Boris Bobkov", project 03182r, at the Zelenodolsk plant named after A.M. Gorky.
