“In the near future, literally before the end of the year, we should deliver a serial-produced aircraft with the first-stage engine,” Chemezov told reporters on Dec. 7. “It complies with all of the characteristics required of the fifth-generation aircraft.”

In fact, before that, the J-10 had intended to export. At the 2016 Singapore Air Show, the aviation industry showed the export model of the J-10 fighter jet for the first time, named FC-20. Since the export model of the F-10 is called FC-20, it is logical that the export model of F-10C is called FC-20E. From this point of view, the J-10CE may only be a temporary domestic name, and the real name should be FC-20E.
