The strategic submarine was launched a year ago, and at the end of May the ship entered its first trials.

The Knyaz Oleg submarine missile carrier from the Borey-A series completed the first tests, they took place in the White Sea. The vessel returned to the Sevmash plant in Severodvinsk after the launching sea voyage.

According to TASS, Sevmash did not comment on the completion of the submarine's tests. The publication draws attention to the fact that the submarine may not have time to be accepted into the fleet, it was previously planned to transfer the submarine to the military before the Day of the Navy on July 25. Later it became known that the transfer of the vessel would take place at the end of the year.

Before that, a combat training launch of the Bulava will be carried out from the missile carrier. The intercontinental ballistic missile will have to reach the target at the Kamchatka Kura test site. "Prince Oleg" will become the fifth missile carrier of the "Borey" project in the Russian fleet.

Earlier NEVSKIE NOVOSTI wrote how the corvette of the Baltic Fleet "Boykiy" was shot by the "Package" complex.
