The American publication has named five countries that will line up for tanks on the T-14 platform.

Military Watch has compiled a forecast list of the most likely buyers of Russian Armat. According to observers of the American publication, the line of five potential buyers of the T-14 is as follows: India, Belarus, Algeria, Vietnam and Egypt.

It is difficult to disagree with experts from the United States that India will lead the list of potential buyers. Today, Delhi is one of the main buyers of Russian weapons. In the tank units of this country, the T-72 and T-90 are in service. Russian contractors carry out a huge amount of work to modernize old equipment and supply new samples. And the purchase of "Almaty" will give an undoubted advantage over neighboring China and Pakistan.

The only competitors of the Russian T-14 platform, according to experts, are the South Korean K2 Black Panther and the Japanese Type 10. Like Armata, they belong to the 4th generation of tanks. But the incredibly high cost of the tank from South Korea, $ 8.5 million, and the "crude" design of the machine from Japan are unlikely to compete with Russian equipment.

For the first time, the Armata tank, created on the T-14 universal platform, was shown at the military parade on May 9, 2015 in Moscow. According to available information, a total of 20 samples of the combat vehicle were produced. It is planned that over time, “Armata” will be replaced by the main tanks T-72 and T-90, which are in service with the Russian army.
