The FSMTC said that Russia is ready for negotiations with Turkey on the Su-35 and Su-57

MOSCOW, March 12. / TASS /. Russia is ready to hold talks with Turkey on the possible delivery of Su-35 and Su-57 fighters in case of a corresponding request. The press secretary of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) of Russia Valeria Reshetnikova told reporters on Friday.

"As for the potential plans for Ankara to purchase Russian Su-35 and Su-57 fighters, it is worth noting that the Turkish side is fully informed about their technical specifications. If there is an application from Turkey for these aircraft, we are ready to negotiate this issue," - Reshetnikova informed.

According to her, Russia previously noted its readiness to take part in the program to create the newest Turkish fifth generation fighter TF-X. "The Turkish side has long been intending to implement a project to create its own 5th generation TF-X fighter. Russia previously indicated that it is ready to consider the possibility of cooperation within this program. However, we have not yet received an appropriate appeal from Ankara," Reshetnikova added.
