On April 3, Serbian President Vucic was successfully re-elected. On April 7, local time, Vucic said in a speech on state television that Serbia was under pressure and intimidation from the West. At the same time, he also noticed that a NATO fighter jet was flying under a Serbian civil aircraft, trying to "obfuscate" and fly into Russian airspace.
Vucic said: "The Serbian civil plane was flying from the capital Belgrade to Moscow, and the plane was delayed for about 3 hours and 20 minutes. When the Serbian plane was about to fly over the Russian border, the Russian flight control center told the Serbian plane to pay attention. The gray military fighter jet on the side, there's something wrong with that plane."
According to the TASS news agency, Vucic read out a report in his speech saying: "A NATO aircraft is flying just the next kilometer (our civil aircraft)."
Vucic added: "The fighter did not threaten the safety of the Serbian aircraft and quickly disappeared from sight."
Vucic said: "Let's see who is pretending to be smart and endangering civil aviation safety. Maybe it's a coincidence, but it's better to tell us the exact reason. We have the exact coordinates where this fighter jet appeared."
