During the exercise, Russian complexes successfully jammed American F-35 fighters at great distances.

Representatives of a number of Russian mass media continue to excite the public, offering readers unverified and sometimes just fictitious incidents. So, for example, a material was published, the authors of which tell that the Russian electronic warfare (EW) units used the Murmansk-BN complex, which is in service with the Russian Navy, against F-35 fighters.

Journalists say that the incident took place during some major military maneuvers of the Russian Armed Forces, which, for some reason, were not reported by the Russian Defense Ministry. During the exercise, Russian complexes successfully "jammed" American F-35 fighters at great distances and "neither the US nor NATO can do anything about it," since the "long-range" Murmansk-BN complexes easily detect F-35s.

Further in the article there is a lengthy rhetoric about "the NATO and the United States who have gone into a rage" due to the fact that F-35 fighters and other Air Force assets "are easily jammed by Russian electronic warfare systems", in particular, "Murmansk-BN". However, readers will not go unnoticed by the fact that in their story the journalists do not indicate the dates, names and place of the exercise conducted by the Russian army and the incident that occurred. Naturally, there was no official confirmation of this information from the Russian military department.

Earlier it was reported that the ships of the Russian Navy met a British warship in the Black Sea with artillery fire.
