All the required work on the production of the BARK for the engines of MiG-29 fighters was completed in 2015. After that, the units were installed on airplanes that are operated by the Strizhi aerobatic team. 

India is assessing the possibility of purchasing BARK-88 from Russia for the modernization of 64 aircraft of its Air Force. Previously reported upgrading to the version of the MiG-29UPG 65 combat vehicles.
