The Aldar Tsydenzhapov is the third project 20 380 multi-purpose patrol ship. It was named after the 19-year-old sailor Aldar Tsydenzhapov, who in September 2010, at the cost of his life, prevented the spread of fire in the engine room of the Pacific fleet destroyer Bystry, for which he received posthumously title of Hero of the Russian Federation.
