The Syrian military receives new Russian armored vehicles and combat aircraft, writes the Arab news publication AMN.
The day before, it became known that a large batch of BMP-1 combat vehicles had entered service with the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), and new combat aircraft have also been received by the Syrian Air Force in recent months, reports the Avia.pro portal.
The data has not been specified, however, experts believe that several more MiG-29 fighters were transferred to the SAA Air Force, and the transfer of several attack helicopters is not excluded.
During the war, the Syrian army modernized its military equipment, which was updated by Russian specialists - this also affected T-90 tanks and combat aircraft, writes the Arab publication.
We will remind that in the past 2020, Russia strengthened the defense capability of the Syrian army with MiG-29 fighters and, according to some sources, two front-line Su-24 bombers.
