Russian military personnel began to use a new reconnaissance complex based on the Su-34 bomber as part of a special operation. This was told by a source in an interview with RIA Novosti.
The new reconnaissance complex makes it possible to transmit information about enemy military facilities to ground forces via automatic communication channels. Three types of containers are used on the Su-34 - optoelectronic, radar and radio engineering.
“As part of a
special operation, the Russian Aerospace Forces have begun using new
reconnaissance systems based on Su-34 front-line bombers, which make it
possible to determine with high accuracy the coordinates and other parameters
of enemy targets, in particular, air defense positions and Ukrainian radar stations,”
the source added.
At the moment, Russia has not resorted to the widespread use of certain types of weapons in Ukraine. Among them are long-range multiple rocket launchers and electronic warfare systems.
