FSMTC denied reports on the supply of bombers to Algeria

Moscow. March 15th. Interfax-AVN - The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) of Russia denied information that the Russian Federation plans to supply Algeria with Su-32 bombers (export version of the Su-34 bomber).

      "The FSMTC of the Russian Federation does not confirm the information that has appeared on the Internet that Russia allegedly plans to transfer a batch of Su-32 aircraft to the Algerian People's Democratic Republic. There is no production of aircraft in the interests of Algeria," the press secretary of the FSMTC of the Russian Federation told Interfax on Monday Valeria Reshetnikova.

     Earlier, there were reports of Russia's plans to supply Algeria with a batch of Su-32 bombers.

     Last year, the head of the FSMTC of Russia Dmitry Shugaev told Interfax that many foreign partners are interested in the export version of the Su-34 bomber, requesting additional presentations, "but so far, unfortunately, without specifics."

     The peculiarities of the Su-34, in particular, are: long flight range up to 4000 km, high flight speed up to 1900 km / h. The combat load of the aircraft can be 8 tons.
