The Russian United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) said that the Augmented Reality helmet (Augmented Reality) to be used on the Su-57 fighter has been tested. This helmet can provide pilots with a better view and even see the environment under their feet. It's like being in a transparent plane.

Air Recognition reported that augmented reality, referred to as AR, is gradually being used on military vehicles. The images returned by multiple cameras outside the fuselage are projected into the pilot’s helmet and you can see the surroundings in real time. Environment without blind spots. Coupled with helmet sights and various weapons, it can be more powerful.

Similar equipment is already available on the F-35, and the pilot can see the space outside the cockpit at night, in bad weather, and during complex maneuvers.

The Russian Air Force officially ordered the Su-57 last year, and it is expected to receive 22 aircraft by the end of 2024. All production work is at the Komsomolsk-on-Amur manufacturing plant. By 2028, 76 Su-57s must be produced.
