MOSCOW, March 1. / TASS /. Concern "Uralvagonzavod" (part of the state corporation "Rostec") sent a batch of T-90M "Proryv" tanks to the Russian army. This was reported to TASS in the press service of the concern.
"Uralvagonzavod" has sent a batch of T-90M "Breakthrough" tanks to the customer, "the press service said.
As UVZ emphasized, the T-90M is the most modern representative of the T-90 family. "The tank is the most advanced vehicle in the T-90 family and the most adapted to action in modern combat conditions, including due to the presence of all-aspect protection, a modern all-day highly automated fire control system and the implementation of measures to increase survivability," UVZ informed.
The concern stressed that with a significant increase in combat effectiveness, the tank retained the reliability of the basic model.
The T-90M is equipped with a new combat tower module with a powerful 125-mm tank cannon, which provides the use of new high-power ammunition, as well as a guided missile, which can destroy enemy tanks at a distance of up to 5 km.
The high speed characteristics of the T-90M tank, fuel efficiency and power reserve (including at extremely high ambient temperatures) are provided by a 1,130 hp diesel engine. from. produced by ChTZ-Uraltrak (part of UVZ).
