.338 Lapua Magnum
The one and only - .338 Lapua Magnum
The .338 Lapua Magnum cartridge, or .338 LM for short, is
the ultimate centerfire cartridge, purpose-built specifically for extremely
long ranges. While the .338 LM round has a strong military reputation, it has
been used increasingly by both sport shooters and long range hunters. When the
sport shooting target is beyond 1 500 meters, the.338 Lapua Magnum is the first
choice. And no matter what kind of game should be taken down at what distance –
the choice is again .338 Lapua Mag. The
.338 Lapua Magnum has received a steady foothold in many Western armies and
similar organizations. It is a combat-proven rifle round and provides
incredible performance and precision in the critical role of military long
range shooting. Source: lapua.com

Savage 110 BA 338 Lapua Magnum vs 1" Steel !!
Published on Mar 20, 2013
In this video I shoot a 1" block of steel with my
Savage 110 BA 338 Lapua using a 300gr SMK bullet from a distance of 100 yards
to show the force of the 300gr 338 Lapua round vs 1" steel. After shooting
the steel block, it literally flew about 9ft back. The rifle has a Nightforce
NXS 5.5-22x56 mil/mil sitting on top of a Ken Ferrell 30 MOA scope base.
