The Baltic Fleet should receive modern Russian-made Su-30SM fighters, which are remarkable for their amazing maneuverability. The newspaper "Izvestia" writes about this, citing sources in the Ministry of Defense. 

Since the Baltic Fleet provides the defense of the Kaliningrad region, which can become the main goal of NATO, in the event of a war, it is necessary to provide this unit with the most effective weapons. One squadron is already in service with the Baltic Fleet, and several dozen more fighters will not be superfluous. 

In addition, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is considering the issue of strengthening coastal defense systems, including through the Ball and Bastion missile systems, capable of providing reliable protection against the invasion of NATO ships. 

Su-30SM has an extensive arsenal of weapons, sufficient to destroy enemy fighters and ships.
