During the test of the AL31FN aeroengine, Chinese aviation scientists found that it is comparable to the Western F119-PW in terms of fan ventilation flow, inlet temperature before the turbine, and turbine cooling airflow control, including high-altitude acceleration performance and improved thrust rating.
