Moscow , February 17, 2021 , 14:17 - REGNUM The Russian T-14 Armata tank will be presented abroad for the first time by the Uralvagonzavod concern (UVZ, part of the Rostec state corporation) at the IDEX 2021 international arms exhibition, which will be held in UAE. This was reported on February 17 at the UVZ press service.
"(At IDEX 2021) the international debut of the T-14 tank, the only one in the world belonging to the third post-war generation, will take place," the TASS press service reported.
The press service also noted that this vehicle has a high degree of protection, including from high-precision weapons, and added that thanks to special equipment, the tank is able to integrate into the automatic control system of the tactical link.
In addition, UVZ clarified that to date, the T-14 has already been tested in unmanned mode.
As REGNUM reported earlier, the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Dmitry Bulgakov, said that a new type of tankers with a special bulletproof self-tightening coating was adopted for supply in the Russian Armed Forces .
