"Krasuha" and "Resident" will go to Syria. In КРЭТ have told

The Russian Defense Ministry can supply Syria with the newest complex of electronic warfare Krasuha-S4. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the concern Radioelectronic Technologies (KRET).

As adviser to the first deputy director general of the KRET, Vladimir Mikheev, it is supposed that REB complexes will be delivered to Syria to counter radar reconnaissance, including the Krasuha-S4 specially developed for Syria. At the same time, the complex will be supplied "with its electronic memory and will be fully integrated with air defense, anti-aircraft missile fire systems and radio-technical systems." In addition, systems for suppressing satellite navigation, most likely the station "Zhitel", as well as regular stations for suppressing aviation VHF radio communications, will be supplied to Syria.

According to Mikheev, Russian electronic warfare complexes will cover the air defense systems S-200, S-300 and S-400 deployed in Syria with an "electronic hood", taking control of the use of all systems. Also with the help of complexes, reconnaissance will be completely blocked from the point of view of radar.

The Krasuha-S4 complex is designed to combat all modern radar stations, which are used on various types of aircraft, including unmanned aircraft. In addition, the complex's capabilities allow interference in a wide range of frequencies, with no limitation in azimuth and elevation. Station R-330ZH "Resident" is intended for detection, direction finding and radio suppression of base stations of cellular communication systems, mobile stations of mobile satellite communication systems.
